Renaissance Capital expands its distribution team to build out product platform

Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, announces that its distribution team will add the following five new members in April: three Directors – Ravil Miftyakhetdinov, Business Development Director; Nikolay Shakarov, Investments and Advisory Director; and Anton Shkurovich, Structured Product Sales. Along with two Vice Presidents, Private Clients Managers – Vasilii Belokryletskii and Dmitrii Kotegov.

All joiners will be based in Moscow and report to Grigory Sedov, Global Head of Private Clients and Head of Distribution, Russia & CIS. Under Grigory’s leadership, the team will further enhance its product platform to meet client demand, both private and institutional.

Ravil Miftyakhetdinov will be joining from Aton, where his most recent role was Partner, Head of HNWI and Head of External Management Platform. He has extensive experience in major client coverage as well as building and growing a team to meet business requirements. As Business Development Director at Renaissance Capital, Ravil will focus on exploring and implementing new opportunities in the HNWI domain regarding our offering on external and proprietary international platforms and collaboration with structuring providers.

Nikolay Shakarov will be joining from Aton Investment Management, where he was Deputy Head of Private Clients, and among other things focused on financial advisory for HNWI/UHNWI and family offices. His remit as Investments and Advisory Director at Renaissance Capital will include support of private as well as institutional clients.

Anton Shkurovich of Bank Otkritie, where he is Managing Director, Structured Products with a focus on new client origination and structuring transactions such as mezzanine and shareholder financing, LBO, MBO, will join in the nearest future to pursue the enhancement of the structured products offering at Renaissance Capital.

Vasilii Belokryletskii joins the Firm from Yekaterinburg, where he was Head of Business Development and co-owner of a start-up, STIPS FinTech. He has a solid track record in financial advisory and product development, including 7 years of working with HNWIs at ATON, which will be his areas of responsibility at the Firm.

Dmitrii Kotegov, CFA, most recently a portfolio manager at an UHNWI family office, based in Yekaterinburg, and CEO and co-owner of STIPS FinTech. He is experienced in day-to-day market coverage and generation of investment ideas. At Renaissance Capital, he will focus on expanding relationships with private and institutional clients.
